The Priorat, the second Designation of Origin classified as “Qualified” (there are only two in Spain), is a region in the province of Tarragona, in the south of Catalonia that offers much for wine lovers, as well as those who want to start in this wonderful world.

It is a small mountainous region that exudes pure nature and peace, as well as incredible landscapes, excellent gastronomy, and above all, unique wines that have achieved great prestige around the world. Easily accessible by car from Barcelona, Valencia, Castellón or Zaragoza, and even from the Camp Tarragona AVE station, it is well worth enjoying a trip to this wine region.

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Transfer from city of origin to destination. Consult us if you wish.
Transfers for visits or experiences.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Your arrival in Priorat

Upon arrival in this Priorat wine region (on your own; if you need help with transfers, please contact us), check-in at the 5* hotel located in an exceptional setting in the middle of the Montsant Natural Park. The hotel has all the services to make your stay unforgettable.
Visit to their own winery and wine tasting.

Day 2: Family wineries in Priorat

Enjoy a great breakfast at the hotel
Then, you will have a private guided tour of one of the family wineries of this region, producer of excellent wines of the D.O.Ca Priorat recognized worldwide. You will taste 4 premium wines.
Enjoy a tasty lunch menu at one of the area’s best restaurants serving traditional cuisine with creative touches. Includes 2 glasses of wine.
Then you have an appointment at another of the family wineries of Priorat. You will visit the vineyard with an expert of the winery, as well as its small cellar where you can taste 4 of its wines along with a tasting of its extra virgin olive oil from centenary olive trees, as well as a snack.

Day 3: Escaladei Charterhouse

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.
Guided tour of the Carthusian monastery of Escaladei, a must to know the origins of the Priorat region. It was a Carthusian monastery founded in the 12th century and considered the first Carthusian monastery in the Iberian Peninsula. You will visit the ruins of the cloisters, the church and the refectory, as well as a cell reconstructed in detail. Duration of visit: 1h 30min approx. Entrance fee included.
Continue your getaway in this amazing wine region on your own, or ask us if you would like to see what options are available (e.g. hiking, escape room for groups, etc.), or even extend your stay.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATIONS

Make the secure online payment of your reservation by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), PayPal or bank transfer. You will receive an instant email confirming the payment.

You will receive another email from our agency within 48 hours (working days) confirming availability, and with instructions and other indications.
In case you require a minimum number of people and the minimum group is not reached, you will be offered an alternative, or if you prefer, our agency will proceed to refund the full amount paid.
Modifications or Cancellations:
- Reservations cancelled more than 8 days prior to the program start date will be refunded 100%. In some cases (special dates or holidays), cancellation fees may vary. In this case, it will be indicated in the email confirmation of availability and services.
- Cancellations made 8 days or less before the program start date will not be refunded (or more days in case of special dates or holidays).
- No-shows and program interruptions will not be refunded.
- Cancellations must be sent by e-mail to the agency, and have confirmation of receipt of the cancellation by our agency.

Winery visits are not normally private (unless clearly indicated). If you would like them to be exclusive, please let us know at the time of booking. We will inform you of the supplement to be paid in case of availability.
The lunch or dinner menus (if included in the price) will be served at full table, to all guests equally. If there are any travelers with food allergies or intolerances, please let us know well in advance.
For tour upgrades or extensions, as well as optional activities not included, please contact us.
We recommend booking at least 15 days in advance.
Prices may vary on certain weekends (high occupancy) or special dates: holidays, fairs or congresses. You will be informed at the time of booking confirmation if it coincides with conflicting dates and what would be the supplement to be paid. If you are not interested, we will refund your money in full.
The order of the activities may vary depending on the availability of our partner providers.
