ITINERARY
Start your adventure in the morning: you will be picked up from your hotel in Madrid and driven on a luxury minivan to the excellent wine cellars. You will be sharing this amazing experience with other wine lovers: as we care about providing you with the best personalized experience, the group will range from 2 to 7 people max.
You will visit two of the best wineries in Ribera del Duero, a well-balanced mix of modern and traditional family-owned wineries including a visit to their underground cellars dating back to the 16th century.
During each visit, a wine professional speaking English or Spanish will show you around the vineyards, if the weather allows, and bodega, explaining you all the process from the harvest of the grapes to the finished bottled product. Rest assured you will learn all about winemaking in Ribera del Duero. Thanks to their dedication, passion and commitment, you will discover all the “behind the scenes” of these modern and traditional wineries. Most importantly, in each cellar you will enjoy at least 2-3 tastings of the finest wines produced in this region. Whether you are an amateur or a connoisseur, our wine experts will guide you through this unmissable adventure.
You will enjoy a selected lunch at a third bodega (subject to availability) or at a traditional asador, where you will taste the marvelous local cuisine paired with top quality Ribera del Duero wines. Before heading back to Madrid, you will get the chance to see the Castle of Peñafiel, an 11-century-old construction now hosting a wine museum. The view is quite spectacular as it overlooks the city from the top of the hill.
After stopping by the castle, you will head back to your hotel in Madrid where you will be dropped off. The tour lasts about 11 hours and you will surely have experienced a unique insight into the remarkable Ribera del Duero wine region.

In case you cancel up to 72 hours (our local time) prior to departure no charges will apply.
If you do not show or cancel less than 72 hours before the experience’s start time, no refund will be made.
In case of cancellation an email must be sent to our agency, and get acknowledgment of receipt from us.
