If you’re a wine aficionado with some level, you will strengthen it in a practical way, and will have the opportunity to respond to doubts and curiosities.

We are conscious that our wine tour is part of your vacations, so our greatest desire is that you enjoy it.

Logically, you will have a schedule of winery visits and monuments’ visits, but you will also have relaxing wine tastings to enjoy, lunches and dinners without time pressure, strolls in charming towns to visit on your own, shop around, and see how people live in these, stays in boutique or charming hotels where you can enjoy their facilities, such as: spa, pool, garden, golf, etc.

Our mission is that you end your tour knowing how the wine is produced, which are the secrets of each winemaker, what type of wines are there in the country you have chosen for your wine tour, and especially, that you get the security wine tasting, without forgetting the fun and relaxation.

Our trips not only include visits to renowned wineries, vineyards visits and wine tastings, but also accommodation in boutique or deluxe hotels, or 4* to 5* centric hotels, gourmet meals or meals of traditional cuisine, cultural visits, and other services or activities (e.g. private transport with professional driver, car rental, balloon rides, golf, spa..). Since our trips are custom made, you can request all services needed, and we’ll try to offer these to you.

Depending on the program, we also may include a basic travel assistance insurance. However, we suggest you get your own travel insurance with more coverage abroad for your own security. We also recommend that you get a trip cancelation insurance, which if needed, we can arrange it for you. Please do not hesitate to let us know.

In the specific case of the winery, Viavinum’s selection is done considering the prestige of the winery and the wine produced, the facilities, design, beautiful surroundings, and the availability of the winemaker or the personnel with knowledge and oenological experience, being at the same time good communicators and able to offer the visit in various languages.

As for the hotels, we select those with a particular charm or modern luxury facilities, always looking for a beautiful location, design and decoration with style and personality, immaculate service and superb facilities to enjoy the hotel. Also in Viavinum we ensure that the chosen restaurants are among the best in the region for its cuisine and service. Sometimes also we recommend simple but with great traditional local food that only the locals know. We always take care of the gastronomic element of our tours because it means an important part of these. Together with wine and culture, a great meal or dinner makes a big difference.

Yes. We offer one-day wine trips for groups visiting wineries and vineyards, and sites of interest in Madrid, Ribera de Duero or Toledo, if you’re in Madrid, in Penedes or Priorat if you’re in Barcelona, or Rioja if you’re in Bilbao. But we do not only offer one-day wine tours, but also longer. You can see a more detailed descriptions of some programs in the sections “Our destinations”, “Experiences”, and “Wine and more”. The most important is to wear comfortable non-slippery shoes to avoid accidents or falls in the wineries where the floor could be a bit slippery. Also, we recommend to bring warm clothing due that temperature in wineries could be lower than outdoors set for the best ageing of wines, aside from the humidity that could be felt.

Not necessarily. For more details of which meals are included, you should read the section “This program includes” of the proposal sent, since not all programs include the same services.

In general, for those meals included in the price of the program, it is clearly indicated if beverages are included in the menu and which. If wine is included in the menu, it is normally calculated in the proportion of 1 wine bottle every 2-3 people. Nevertheless, in order to avoid any confusion, you shall ask in advance which beverages, if any, are included. This way you make sure if you have to pay for any extras to the restaurant or the agency following your trip.

If included, the wines selected are normally those that combine best with the meal you will taste and always of quality. Generally, the ones included are those of the wine region being visited.

The meals are in renowned restaurants or wineries, where a gourmet or typical food is offered, depending on the program. Group menus have to be the same for all the table, with exception for those with food allergies or restrictions.

We can arrange any program for you, in any of the most important Spanish wine regions, such as: Rioja, Ribera de Duero, Rueda, Penedes, Priorat, Rias Baixas, etc. or in any other European countries with great wine tradition, such as: France, Italy or Portugal.
